Psycho-educational assessments

Identify the learning difficulties your child may be experiencing.

These include but not limited to:

  • Specific learning issues (e.g. reading, writing).

  • Problems paying attention or concentrating.

  • Developmental delays.

  • Emotional issues (e.g. anxiety, depression).

  • Language barriers.

My tests will examine your child’s:

  • Ability to comprehend and process information.

  • Emotional development.

  • Mathematics proficiency.

  • Reading and writing skills.

I’ll interview you before I assess your child. You’ll also need to fill out the checklists and questionnaires I provide. Assessments tend to last between 3 – 4 hours, after which I provide feedback and a report detailing my recommendations and findings. A feedback meeting with the school to discuss your child’s results can be arranged.

  • Computers for presenting answers in typeface.

  • Prompters who refocus easily distracted learners.

  • Separate, quieter venues for learners to sit exams in.
